You’re invited to Community Chats with The Bessies!
What would it be like to have a dance awards rooted in and owned by the community it serves? How can an awards organization become more openly transparent about process with the community? Do you have ideas of how recognition can support artists in an expanding virtual world? What do you long to experience from a community dance awards organization?
You are invited to join a series of open Community Chats with The Bessies. Share what matters to you and how you imagine The Bessies might reflect and meet the needs of an ever-evolving field of dance.
Community Chat dates:
- Thursday, March 24 from 5:00pm-6:30pm ET
- Wednesday, April 27 from 5:30pm-7:00pm ET
- Tuesday, May 24 from 1:00pm-2:30pm ET
- Thursday, June 23 from 10:00am-11:30am ET
- Friday, July 22 from 12:00pm-1:30pm ET
All chats will be held virtually. You are welcome to join one chat or several. Prior involvement at The Bessies is not required to participate.
