at Mertz Gilmore Foundation (218 E 18th St)
To attend, please join the Bessie League. The League nominates people to serve on the Selection Committee, participates in yearly discussions on how The Bessies might better serve dance artists, contributes names of dance practitioners who have passed during the year so they might be included in the “in memoriam” tribute at the ceremony, is invited to the press conference announcing nominations in July, includes credit in Bessie programs and on the Bessie website, and is offered first crack at tickets for the annual awards.
The Bessies are as good as we make them.
