Join The Bessies Steering Committee as we present the second annual Bessies Presenter Award to Judy Hussie-Taylor. As Executive Director and Chief Curator of Danspace, Judy is being awarded for presenting the early work of many recent Bessie-winning choreographers, and for her vision and hard work in producing 2016 Special Citation winner: Danspace Project Platform 2016: A Body in Places by Eiko Otake.
The Bessies will also salute Rockette Phoebe Pearl with a toast to the First Amendment and the right of all artists and all Americans to express themselves.
