The Bessies Steering Committee* and the 2016 Bessie Jury: Bill T. Jones, Liz Gerring, and Yoshiko Chuma, invite you to celebrate as we announce this year’s nominees of the 2016 New York Dance and Performance Bessie Awards. Join us at 5pm for hors d’oeuvres, libations and special guest performances by Melissa Toogood (2015 Outstanding Performer Awardee) and Pavel Zuštiak/Palissimo (2015 Juried Bessie Awardee). At 6pm we will announce this year’s nominees and present The 2016 Bessies Juried Award, the Bessie for Outstanding Revival, and the Bessie for Outstanding Emerging Choreographer. This is an event not to be missed!
